Lynn Cassiers is a well-known singer in the jazz & impro scene in Belgium & beyond for more than 10 years. Jazz masters Rachel Gould, Bobby McFerrin, Deborah Brown, Ronan Guilfoyle, Billie Hart & Judy Niemack, which she met at the conservatory of Den Haag, left a big mark on her music. Cassiers’ trademark is her unique, dreamy voice which she manipulates live with electronics. Beside her solo project full of narrative, spheric, even endearing soundscapes, she tours all around Europe with lidlboj, Riccardo Luppi’s Mure Mure, Tape Cuts Tape, The Crappy Mini Band, Wrapped In, Trouvé/Thielemans/Cassiers, Basic Borg, Magine, MALM, Octurn’s 7 Eyes and others. She also participated in the audio book 'Vliegen tot in de hemel’ with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. This way she shared the stage with Marshall Allen, Jack Van Poll, Leon Parker, Daysuke Takaoka, Jozef Dumoulin, Pierre Perchaud & Nelson Veras. In 2018 she composed music for the album & septet 'Imaginary Band' (label: Clean Feed).
