Biography

Quentin Biardeau is a French saxophonist, improviser, composer and music producer born in 1988. Co-founder of the flourishing Tricollectif from Orleans, he has shaped and nourished this human and artistic adventure since 2012. With his 9 partners, he is behind a myriad of artistic creations (Walabix, Durio Z,Quatuor Machaut,…). In 2011 he founded and composed the music for the Quatuor Machaut. This outfit produced a reinterpretation of the Mass of Notre-Dame by Guillaume de Machaut (XIVth) for a saxophone quartet for venues with reverbant acoustics. An album was recorded at Noirlac Abbey and released on the French label Ayler Records (2015). Several artists have entrusted him to perform their music, and he is actively involved on stage with Freaks by Théo Ceccaldi (jazzpunk), Pelouse by Xavier Machault (post-song) and more recently Futuro Pelo by Benjamin Sportès (ex-Sporto Kantès). In addition to his role as an instrumentalist, he has also been hired as a music producer with Pelouse, Kutu, Constantine, TALISMAN...Gradually his fearlessness on record and on stage gave him the desire to make creations inspired by pop, electronics, and intense live experiences. From this desire arose several groups, notably Bobun Fever, a pop-ritual quartet, Spicy Frog a Franco-Indian pop-world creation produced by the Astrolabe. In 2021 and 2022 he released 2 EP (5 tracks) with CHATAIN (french-pop duet with Stéphane Charasse aka Boogers). Produced by his own label LE PLOMB EN OR.
