After facing some legal troubles, Wave Gotti turned to music to get him through. He soon realized that music was his passion and was keeping him focused on achieving his goals. 
 Known as Wavey by his friends, he decided to add Gotti to his moniker, elevating his status to another level. 
 Wave Gotti says his music is inspired by his life’s journey and the stories of people around him. Although his repertoire includes club and party songs, he said his goal is to deliver a well-crafted story to the audience. A well-known mainstay in New York, he has been able to gain attention in North Carolina as well. 
 Signed to the independent label, 100 Keys Entertainment, Wave Gotti uses his New York drawl and slang to create songs that distinguish him from other rappers. In 2017, he joined fellow label mates G-Wreck and Kaio Kane on a song called “100 Keys” and again on the song “Nightmares.” Both songs received airplay and support from DJs on two prestigious New York radio stations, Hot 97 and Power 105. 
 He is currently promoting his 2018 single, “No Cappin,” featuring philly artist, Cassidy.
