Dimon (NYC) and Q Smith (NYC) Formed as a duo project in 2020 between a NYC actor/vocalist and a Mexican Flamenco guitar player in La Paz, Baja California Sur, México. Dimon ✴ NYC Actor/Traveller/Vocalist ✴ WanderlustLass Original duo met on a 7 minute lancha (ferry) ride connecting the peninsula of El Mogote to the malecón of La Paz, BCS, México in March 2019. Early 2020 they began casually collaborating on arrangements of two songs for a documentary while performing at open mic nights when venues began to close due to the pandemic. Stepping into the recording studio March 2020 they recorded Acoustic Demos for "Both Sides Now - Acoustic Demo" and "Vincent (Starry Starry Night)" Two years of collaborations, exploring arrangements fusing Flamenco w/ other genres, a few more recordings in early 2021, and private lakeside performances in NY/NJ! Culminating in two intimate sold out performances in La Paz, México April 2022. Dimon inspired by poetic, sensitive singer/songwriters Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin, Leonard Cohen.
