J.R.Clark, a Virginia Beach-based rapper, songwriter, and studio engineer, has carved his path as an independent hip-hop artist. His career began as a studio engineer before transitioning to a recording artist, releasing his debut EP, That Weekend, in 2015. The project earned him a spot at the 2016 z104 Shaggfest alongside Travis Scott, 50 Cent, Pusha T, and others. Subsequent releases, like Sunset Symphony (2018) featuring Smoke DZA and Stalley, and Antique Summer (2019) with Curren$y’s Fendi P, along with performing at events with DaBaby, Gunna, Pop Smoke, Rick Ross, and Gucci Mane, have garnered his music coverage on platforms like Lyrical Lemonade, The Source, Hot 97, and much more. He owns an independent record label, Vintage Sound Entertainment, and aims to continue shaping his legacy to have a massive impact on the hip-hop industry.
