Soltap is a hip hop based artist in the Bay Area, CA. His journey began performing spoken word poetry. He transitioned from poet to rapper and began recording over jazzy hip hop beats and soulful samples with producer J.Sana. They formed the HiddenVisions brand and released rap mixtapes Mental Arsenal, The Awakening and rap/r&b EP SimpinVisions. Soltap was featured on Fredo Algebra and J.Sana album, "Hope All is Well" on the song "They Dont." In 2019, he released his first single and first official release on digital streaming platforms called "Beyond," followed by his debut project titled, "Soul Overlappin' The Artificial Presence." He's performed at University colleges as well as local events curated by artistic collectives throughout the Bay Area.
