Leah Parrett is a singer/songwriter from Brockton, Massachusetts. She started songwriting at 12 and fell in love from there. She currently attends Berklee College of Music and studies songwriting. After meeting Austin Wilson in their 1st year of school, they quickly realized they had the same style and started working together on their first project Daisys. From there, the two dropped the ep Daisys the EP, which features 5 songs about Leah’s journey through a break up and growing as a person. While constantly working on music, the two JUST dropped another single called Chances, which talks about being very cautious and aware of who you give your time and energy to in order to protect yourself. The song features their friends from school and was recorded at Berklee. If you’re into the sounds of Neo-Soul, R&B and/or groovy music written by a girl who grew up on old school R&B and hip-hop as well as Classic Rock, you should give Leah’s music a listen and even dance a little bit. You might catch leah performing around Boston and surrounding cities with her band…and mom in the crowd.
