Maham Suhail is a performer, composer/sound artist, and producer. Being a post-genre artist, her work mainly draws upon Alternative/Experimental & Indie Folk music. She has an eclectic live & recorded repertoire, spanning song recordings in 8 languages, bi-lingual Spoken Word/lyrics, cross-genre and Folk instrumentation, field recordings, and Ambient Electronics. Maham has worked & collaborated internationally, for remote productions, residencies, and live Arts & Music festivals. Hailing from an Avant-garde AV installation background before recording her travel compilation, Alternative Folk album ‘Mitti’, she is working with the sync music industry now, as a composer. Maham has a few awards & honors to her credit, including the ISC (Int. Songwriting Competition) Honorable Mention (Nashville, U.S.) 2021, HBL PSL ‘Hamaray Heroes’/‘Our Heroes’ (Pakistan, 2022), Goethe Talents’ scholarship (Berlin, 2017), Peace Song Awards (PSA, Canada) 2019, etc. She has appeared on radio, TV, blog & publication media, in 11 countries. Maham currently lives and works as a Global Talent visa immigrant in London, England.
