RC Peters began making beats in 1997 when he discovered an AKAI MPC 2000. He helped formed an alternative hip-hop group named: Ostrich Head which gained an underground following spanning the California Coast and into Arizona. The group famously won a You-Tube video contest and was featured on Good Morning America. He also formed a live hip-hop band named: Knew Relicks which performed in many venues during his residency in Austin, Texas. RC is also a lyricist and has recorded under the following monikers: Selacious Crumb and Gringo Starr. He is known for his unique writing and his delivery has been compared to Aesop Rock, Kool Keith and MF DOOM. He has released projects through indie labels: Kingspin Records, and A.P.E. records in the U.K., which had distribution through Mo-Wax. As a producer he has had sync deals with MTV Studios and has IMDB credits for music and original scores for independent film projects.
