BEAT TAPE BEETHOVEN. Sonce (sahn-say) otherwise known as Cole, is a producer from Calgary, Canada. Coming from a family where music is something that will always be heard, Sonce began to gain a deep passion for music. His dad showed him the world of Rock, Soul, and hip hop from the 70s-90s first putting him onto names like Coolio, DMX, The Eagles, ZZ Top, Sade, and Mary J Blige. After garnering over 2.5 million views across platforms, Sonce has been taking these influences from his childhood and the new influences he’s found along the way, and has been putting them into his projects. Sonce has since caught the eyes of artists such as KAYTRANADA, JID, Joey Bada$$, and even producers for Drake. On August 9th, 2024, Sonce released his debut studio album titled, “SIGN THE CONTRACT”. After an 18 month long wait his fans finally received his self-proclaimed “best work yet”. His new project has been regarded as the best album in 15 years from Western Canada. He says his main goal is to create music that brings up feelings you didn’t know you could feel.
