Hello! I’m Nina Fay! I write, record, and produce music. I love to make my own samples, chop, deconstruct and make interesting sounds out of what I have and make it into something beautiful. Some of my inspirations include artists like FKA Twigs, Grimes, SOPHIE, and Caroline Polachek, but also bands like Cactau Twins and This Mortal Coil. As a child I used to go on tour with my father GT Ugland who is an awesome guitarist, and I think that constantly coming along on shows, tours and backstage became a home for me. I subsequently started a band of my own and played guitar in different bands for a few years, before I started to write more songs on my own – and later downloaded Ableton Live and got hooked. I took Ableton Live with me everywhere – on the bus, in the park, and to all kinds of random places. I have always liked gaming, and to make music in this way gives me that same immersive feeling, only better. I hope you like my music!!
