Born in the Heart of East London to Grenadian parents, Shemzy began exploring music as a child performing at any given opportunity in his church and local talent shows. Raised around older kids, he developed an explosive style to stand out and a singing voice that would catch people off guard. While presenting for Reprezent Radio, Shemzy would moonlight as a music producer, songwriter and studio engineer working on projects that would go on to chart on MTV, Apple Music and the Official UK Top 10. When asked about juggling his work, Shemzy said, “I'M JUST A VOCAL EXPRESSIONIST. At first you wouldn't understand it and You'll probably try to brand it, but I'm not confined to one thing my essence is evident in everything I do.”.
