Ricky was convinced his dance talent would one day lift him to the next level. In 2002 Ricky breaker, applied for a break dance competition that would give him a shot at realizing hisdream. During the competition, the cd, mixed by himself got lost. Fortunately Ricky had abackup ‘tape’ standby to save him. So he could keep participating in the competition, which he won. Ricky continued to practice his passion in dancing in the Netherlands. As time went by hestarted to feel restricted within dancing and felt like he needed new challenges. His vision forthe future made him switch to music. Ricky enrolled to an electronic music production course in Brussels after which he spendmonths developing his audio and engineering skills. Meanwhile, Ricky got promoted from being a DJ who played at ordinary events to becoming a resident DJ at several clubs including Rotterdam’s well-known Club Vie. His career started when Afrojack involved Ricky in an artist project. Former Disney star Kyle Massey had approached the top producer for a new track. Ricky produced the single ‘Breaker Breaker’, which has been Ricky’s first release at Wall Recordings. Afterwards Ricky & Afrojack released two more records titled “No Tomorrow” with the rappers Belly and O.T. Genasis & the record ‘Flawless Victory’ that is part of Afrojack’s latest album ‘Press Play’. Further more, Ricky Breaker created a second single together with Kyle Massey called ‘Litty’released on the label Sygye.
