Biography

OMEE is out of the small town of Rockville Indiana, but actually started his main performance bidding in Tilton Illinois. Looking for a reason to continue his quest for a place in the music industry, he attended a contest for amateur singers to compete for areas best vocalist. OMEE actually came in 3rd, but as we've seen on the tv shows that are similar, he gained major momentum just being heard. He was asked to open a show for area rocker "Coop" Brian Cooper, head of very popular area band "Big Guns". From there he friended the host of the original contest, the founder of "Neon Street Productions" Scott Murphy, aka "Scottyg". Scotty asked him to open some minor shows, then turned to much larger shows like the area rock fest called "217 Rock", in which big names like "Terry Lutrell (REO Speedwagon 1st singer) headed the "Tons of Fun" band. OMEE kept in close contact with both Coop and Scotty, playing some occasional shows here and there. Getting the call to feature at Neon Street Productions show "15 Minutes of Fame", a show that attempted to launch and give local bands a "bump" in the scene, OMEE & Scotty had gain much respect and appreciated the dedication and loyalty each had. OMEE had broken away for awhile with some bands but always found the need for a manager due to business issues that would arrise. OMEE finally asked Scotty to represent him. Scotty agreed that OMEE had some rare talent, not only in voice, but also that OMEE had something to share with the world.
