Dustin Ransom's music is built on impeccable musicianship, a tasteful mixture of soul, funk, classic pop, & folk, and honest, thought-provoking lyrics. Born and raised in small-town Indiana, Dustin learned to play numerous instruments and write, sing, and record his own songs before moving to Nashville, Tennessee where he became a first-call musician & producer for artists including Dave Barnes, Ben Rector, Jars Of Clay, Chely Wright, Richard Marx, Ryan Bingham, Jon McLaughlin, Gabe Dixon, & many more. He has also recorded hundreds of original compositions used in ads for companies including Vimeo, Michelin, CBS Sports, Tempur-Pedic, Purity Organic, Kajabi, and many more. He released his debut EP Thread On Fire in 2015, followed by three singles in 2016. In 2017, he released his first full-length record Phases and opened up for singer-songwriter Matt Wertz across the United States that fall. His next album Frontiers was released in 2019. In 2020, Dustin released We Are Home, his first instrumental ambient album. In collaboration with musician Cameron Simons, Dustin also released Waking Tones, a series of custom alarm tones for smartphones.
