It has been a long hard journey for St. Louis native Donnell Bland, Jr. better known to many in the streets and the music world as Leo Manolo. The product of a biracial marriage, Leo grew up experiencing the best of both worlds when it came to music and culture. R&B, Jazz, Classic Rock and eventually Hip Hop would influence and infuse the musical talents he had of his own already in his DNA. Leo Manolo started off with 2 different groups from St. Louis in the early years of his musical journey. After years of doing work with both Lyrical Gs and Fatal Voices as well as different artists in Mobile, Alabama, Leo eventually went solo and has since dropped 9 mixtapes including Fistful of Dollars and Wake N Bake 421 which was hosted by Mobile's own DJ Oktoba. While recording in the studio has always been an invigorating feeling for Leo, he has always had a love for reciprocating that energy to the fans onstage performing live shows. Manolo gained his performing experience doing shows at various clubs around Mobile with artists such as Maja and Cojack and the band Entrigue. Leo Manolo featured as a special guest appearance with Entrigue as they opened up for Chrisette Michele at Bayfest in 2010. He also performed many times at RunMob which was also hosted by DJ Oktoba. Leo Manolo just recently released his new album "King of Leonine" which is available on Spotify as well as all other streaming platforms. Stay tuned for more new music on the way!!
