Real name Shafie Phiri, Driemo is a Multi-Award winning artist from Malawi, Southern Africa, signed under Van Ngongo Entertainment. Driemo burst onto the music scene in 2021 with his single "Duma" which garnered him a lot of commercial success. Duma was then followed up with Mtendere. Love Letter EP followed there after, also earning him more success. In 2023, Driemo released his debut album 'Mzaliwa (Citizen)' on August 12th, led by the single 'Popo'. The album was also launched on the same date at COMESA Hall in front on a 15,000 capacity crowd, cementing his status as one of Malawi's biggest artists.
