Bok.keyz (Shiabe Bok Pangelinan) is a dynamic musician from the vibrant islands of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). Inspired by the Pacific's rich cultural tapestry, he blends traditional Chamorro rhythms with contemporary global sounds, carrying forward the legacy of his father, the late music pioneer Frank Bokonggo Pangelinan. In 2015, Bok.keyz left the islands to pursue his own musical path, quickly establishing himself as a professional touring keyboardist. He has collaborated and toured with a diverse range of artists across the island reggae, Cali reggae, and reggae scenes, sharing the stage with notable names like Tribal Seeds, Rebelution, Big Mountain, Siaosi, Hirie, Fia, and many more. As a cultural steward and creative force, Bok.keyz launched Plakan Paire Studios in 2021, honoring his father's legacy while providing a collaborative space for fellow musicians. With a heartfelt commitment to his craft and a deep love for his island home, he hopes to contribute positively to the music community and uplift those around him through the power of sound.
