I shook his hand as he says, “Good morning, son.” I say in return, “Good morning, Mr. President.” I went to my car thinking, “Man… He looks way better in person! Ha!” Epic fail: Same day, my son had attended the event with me that day. I had a point and shoot camera instead of a smart phone because I was being frugal at the time. Secret Service comes up to me and informs me that they would only allow smartphone pics for the meet and greet. However, my son had an iPhone! So I asked to use it and lo and behold, his phone was dead! I never got my pic with Obama that day, but I hope to meet him again under different circumstances.
