Bevan Augustin Ben Fernando, known to the world as BennyAugust, is a music composer, producer, singer, and pianist extraordinaire hailing from Colombo, Sri Lanka. His music journey began at the tender age of 2, tinkling the keys of a Yamaha organ from his father's travels. Bevan’s life has been a symphony of devotion to music. From schoolboy virtuoso, to leading, training choirs and gracing national and international churches & stages, by singing, playing the piano/organ, and choral conducting. He immersed himself into classical music studies & training from the age of 6 under the tutelage of late Ms. Anoja Rathnayake and late Ms. Maureen Fernandopulle. His music foundation has been rock-solid ever since. But in 2019, a new chapter unfolded. Stepping into the realm of music production, Bevan embraced the challenges and joys of crafting soundscapes that move hearts and stir souls. The road wasn't always smooth, but fueled by passion and perseverance, he emerged a musical storyteller, weaving his experiences and emotions into every note. Today, BennyAugust stands as a testament to the transformative power of music. His sound, a fusion of soul, classical influences, and contemporary flair, is as diverse as his journey.
