Rocket is an Independent hip hop artist from Kentucky and an MC in the Galaxy's Finest rap group. Quick witted, fast paced rhyme schemes with a lot of personality over a wide variety of styles. Rocket began making music as a way to escape boredom after moving to Kentucky from California at the age of 10. He has used several different stage names prior to Rocket, including CTPeezy and Casper The Prodigy. Being a millennial, he has a lot of influence from the regular suspects: Eminem, Ludacris, 50 Cent, Machine Gun Kelly, etc. However, his hunger for more led him to finding more underground influences, including Del The Funky Homosapien, El-P, Eyedeas, ChinoXL, and Motion Man, for example. He continues to expand his sound and experiment with different flows and rhyme schemes. His abstract view of the world has lead to incredible punch lines and metaphors. His struggle with manic depression and anxiety has created a unique perception of mental illness and how to cope with it.
