The Rio de Janeiro-based DJ and producer, Daniel Lucas, currently calls the picturesque hills of Petrópolis home. Also known by the moniker Pigmalião, Daniel is the visionary behind the avant-garde labels "Frente Bolivarista" and "I Lost My Poncho In Istanbul," platforms that have propelled a myriad of influential figures onto the national and international electronic music stage. With a production journey that commenced in the late '90s, Daniel Lucas has traversed through various realms of the electronic music scene in Brazil and beyond. From 2014 to 2020, under the pseudonym Pigmalião, he graced the decks of renowned clubs, events, and festivals such as D-EDGE (BR), Le Sucre (FR), Opium Club (LT), Paradiso Amsterdam (NL), Salon Zur Wilde Renate (DE), Fusion Festival (DE), Feel Festival (DE), Nomade Festival (CL), and the Festival Novas Fresquencias (BR), among others. In the present day, Daniel has established the Gum Gum Producer in the quaint village of Itaipava. Here, he curates a diverse array of projects ranging from the production of Trap, Drill, Baile Funk, and Pop artists to the creation of bespoke soundscapes for fairs and corporate events worldwide.
