It was in 2015, when Moritz and Maximilian first met in a flat in the German town of Jena. Apart from many other similarities, the most apparent connection was their love for music. Coming from very different ends of the musical spectrum, Max with a classical instrumental background an Moritz with many years of producing beats and DJ’ing (Moe-Fasa), they both shared a love for techno music and all adjacent genres of electronic music. It did not take long before the regular nights of wine and music turned into fruitful producing sessions with Max thinking up melodies and harmonies on his guitar and Moritz making the corresponding beats. One learning from the other, they soon realized that combining the two different sets of musical expertise, made for a very creative and productive process. Ever since, Moorii & Maas have spent their time together creating music full of melancholy and a hard bass. Their ambition as of now, is to produce as much music as possible as well as DJing together playing their own tracks as well as those of other artists. The musical role models influencing the own music as well as the live sets is extremely manifold and covers artists and genres from all around the world. ♥
