Rave Child’s sound explores the never-ending energy of childhood's nostalgia, hysteria and sometimes even fragility, on a search for the infinity that can never be reached. As the artist chooses to not show his face, the core of his identity is solely revealed through his musical output. A self-taught person, both musically and in other aspects of life, Rave Child is currently based near the coastline, somewhere in the north of Portugal, getting inspired by the Nature and the colors of this magical and dreamy place. If Rave Child would have to name some major musical influences though, they would be Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Shed and Traumprinz aliases. Musically, all we know is that he is a big fan of combining the rawness of the analog sound with the vast possibilities of the digital More comfortable in his home, Rave Child chooses to appear live on very few occasions.
