“The opportunity to be in the same room as Stella Nutella should not be passed up!” (Rolling Stone Magazine, India) Hanna Flemström grew up in Örnsköldsvik in North Sweden, but she started DJ’ing in 1998 in London. The nickname Stella was given to her by her Italian best friend because of her stellar glow, ‘Nutella’ added by an English friend ‘because she is a bit of a nutter’! She started playing psytrance in underground clubs and soon she also got booked to spin in big festivals abroad… DanceValley (NL), Celebra Brasil (Brazil), Vortex (South Africa), Solipse Total Eclipse Festival (Zambia), VOOV Experience & Summer Dreaming (Germany), Sola Luna Samothraki (Greece), Gaian Mind (USA).. During the following 20 years music took Stella to over 30 countries where she played everywhere from underground raves on magical beaches or hilltops, to the most glamorous night clubs and events for top brands such as Louis Vuitton. From 2006 to 2015 she had her base in Malaysia where, while playing clubs all around Asia, she also held DJ residencies such as WINK (Taj Hotel, Mumbai) and SKY BAR (Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur)- She also started up a successful DJ agency ‘Amazon Agency’ supporting female talent, providing entertainment to luxury hotels such as Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, Sheraton, in Asia, the Maldives and Dubai. Stella also organisez her own club events; ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ and ‘Queens of Hearts’ and has released music on CD and vinyl on several labels.
