Milwaukee born and raised Emcee SPEAK Easy is a cerebral wordsmith. Not only is he an emcee, he is a dedicated mental health advocate. In addition, SPEAK is a warrior fighting against systemic oppression and fighting for equity and inclusion for people of color. SPEAK Easy has often finessed his way through lyricism, but he’s always wowed crowds with his aggressive side. There’s a multitude of reasons the first part of SPEAK Easy is in all caps. It’s a play on his style. ‘SPEAK’ is the harder more intense and ‘Easy’, is the subtle smooth lyricist that will make you vibe for days. He has paid dues performing across the United States and has even collaborated with Think Tank, a United Kingdom based band. SPEAK has graced the stages of A3C, SXSW and been featured on MTV, Rolling Stone, All Hip-Hop, Huffington Post, Hot 97 and more.
