Federico Jusid is an Argentinian-Spanish composer who lives and works between Madrid and Los Angeles. He has written the score for more than 60 feature films and over 30 tv series. His work includes the score for the Academy Award®-winner for Best Foreign Film "The Secret in Their Eyes", for which he received the nomination for the Spanish Academy Goya Award for Best Original Score. Other notable scores include Federico’s compositions for Neruda, Loving Pablo; Misconduct; Kidnap and 7 Years for which he was the executive producer and has premiered the theatrical version in Spain, France, Greece, Argentina and Mexico. He composed the score for the films, Life Itself, A Twelve Year Night and the animated miniseries Watership Down, for which he´s been nominated to an Emmy Award. On television, his most recognized work is the soundtrack for the Spanish historical drama "Isabel, My Queen", with whom he won the IFMCA Award and Reel Music Award. His most recognized concert hall compositions include Tango Rhapsody, a piece for two pianos and symphony orchestra commissioned by the Tiempo-Lechner duo, which has been presented worldwide; Kinetic Overture, premiered by the RTVE Orchestra at the Monumental Theatre of Madrid; and Bidaia, an accordion concerto dedicated to Iñaki Alberdi, that will be performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires at the Colon Theatre; to name a few.
