Ezekiel James Hampton grew up in Vacaville, CA writing, performing, and appreciating music in several genres. He started composing hip-hop beats as a young teenager with his first sequencing and sampling keyboard, the original Yamaha DJX. He realized that this style of music-making could draw from a wealth of audible resources and influences. Nostalgia is the constant fire that drives all of his music, with Rad Brown being a project that weaves together original music with some of the earliest and most impactful audible memories sourced from television commercials, cartoon theme songs, 80s' film scores, video games, obscure VHS tapes, and more.
