ITXDemi, or simply Demi, is an electronic musician from Colorado. After picking up a Novation Launchpad at 12, Demi fiddled with music software and made rudimentary tracks without much music knowledge. At 14, Demi received a copy of FL Studio from a family member after working with Tufty on a basic track. For a short while, Demi made low-quality house and lofi music, operating solely on the basis that nobody around them made electronic stuff, something that demotivated Demi. All of this changed as after joining a server with multiple friends, Demi was recruited into Neoluminum to work for the label’s debut compilation. Taking this into account, Demi put a game face on and worked with Nebeski on their debut track, Party Crasher, which was later remixed by S1DRONE. Working in high school and getting programming/networking certificates with a local community college, Demi was asked by a close friend, Sluds, to remix the titular track of his album — “FOOD”. While it wasn’t Demi’s finest work, it was progress. During all of this, Demi chipped away at a single that would impress everyone near, hoping to stand out by working with Flexstyle, an artist that they met by coincidence while in a James Egbert server on Discord. NONSTOP was Demi’s breakthrough track, releasing on their 19th birthday on February 19th, 2024.
