Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Prempeh is a hip hop recording artist whose sound aims to link old school technique with new school styles. He draws musical influence from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Lupe Fiasco, as well as their more underground contemporaries like JID and Joey Bada$$. 
 Prempeh adopted the moniker of "The Royal Omega"—a naturally oxymoronic title—to describe the duality of self love amidst feelings of worldly rejection. This moniker was the basis of inspiration for his appropriately named debut EP, Royal Omega: The Prologue, released in 2018. The following year saw the beginnings of The Stargazing Collection, an astronomy inspired freestyle series, and came to a close with the release of his second EP: Floodgates, Vol. 1.
