Orchestra Fuego, a highly esteemed Salsa band hailing from Florida, has garnered widespread acclaim and adoration around the globe. Helmed by the talented Salsa aficionado and composer Marcus Hernandez, the band has captivated audiences with their vibrant original Latin compositions as well as their interpretations of well-known tracks. Orchestra Fuego's journey can be traced back to the late '70s when Marcus Hernandez, an established performer on the New York City music scene, founded the Salsa group Fuego ’77 and released an album under the Alegre Record Label, a subsidiary of the legendary Fania Records. After relocating to Tampa, Florida, Hernandez recognized the opportunity to bring the classic Salsa sound to the state and subsequently formed Orchestra Fuego in 2015. Notably, Orchestra Fuego has an impressive discography, boasting seven albums and ten singles, with their latest album release "Nostalgia." Their previous album, "Candela," achieved remarkable success and garnered multiple accolades at the Independent Music Awards. With its widespread global downloads, "Candela" earned the band recognition with awards such as Best Song, Best Band, and Best Album at the 2022 and 2023 Independent Music Awards in Hollywood, California. In addition, the album attained platinum RIAA status and has accumulated over 2 million plays.
