Bearing traces of 1970's folk rock & pop, Telli Davul takes its name from the term "Telli Davul" which is a euphemism for the bass guitar used by musicians in the old orchestras of Istanbul. They interpret the traditional music of Anatolia and original compositions with psychedelic motifs in their own style. Telli Davul, founded and produced by Özer Ateş, continues live performances. Muaz Ceyhan on vocals, bowed tambur and caglama, Maya Muz on keyboards , Danae Palaka on drums and Özer Ateş on bass guitar.
