BIIGRAPHY - Inezi is a Jamaican reggae artist born and raised in Spanish Town, Jamaica. His musical background can be traced back to his prolonged juvenecence, a father who sings and a community sound system called Copper Tone. Inezi quickly developed an interest and joined a group called H5, which later became Konscious, entered 2 major talent competitions, and got signed by Olympic Champion Asafa Powell. Konscious was dismantled after recording the' first single, 'Trod it', then Inezi went solo. In 2016, he met and recorded the singles. No Love and Roots and Culture, produced by Teflon Zincfence, which garnered airplay on BBC Radio. In 2020, Inezi connected with Swiss label Addis Records, recording several songs such as African Proverbs, Rise, Sorry Fah, Mind Check, and The Energy featuring Junior. In 2021, Inezi recorded Pain and Pleasure EP on the Global Beats Studio label as well as Jungle on Inna Dis Yah riddim, and She Needs Me released October 2024. He also recorded Long Way Home on Preppie Record label. In 2024 Inezi recorded Jah Jah See on the Sillywalks Discotheque label, Clean Livity produced by Hotplay Record label and mixed by reggae pioneer King Jammy, Take Control produced by John John Records and Firm Up on the Ambassador Musik label.
