Futuremen is an instrumental band from Mexico City formed in the year 2013 comprising synth player Miguel Contreras, guitarist Jonathan Contreras, bassist Emmanuel Sanchez and beat maker / drummer Julio Cesar Rodríguez. They are influenced by movements such as krautrock and post rock resulting in a genre self-defined as “synth noise”.
