Horizon One has taken the road less traveled through the world of electronic music. Based in Los Angeles, he has attended live shows not only as part of the audience and as a performer, but also as a concert lighting designer. While pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, Horizon One created visuals for some of the biggest names in entertainment, from hip hop legend Snoop Dogg to Nick Jonas (of Jonas Brothers fame). However, he got the most enjoyment working with electronic music brand Insomniac at sold out venues such as the Hollywood Palladium. Despite his successes as a lighting designer, he soon shifted his focus from illuminating electronic music artists to becoming one. Producing in Ableton Live, Horizon One has spent countless hours perfecting his craft. After showing one of his songs to a coworker with a friend who ran a label, he found himself releasing his first track. Inspired by the thought of other people hearing his music, he continued developing his sound and ended up getting signed to the iconic Tiesto-founded Black Hole Recordings. Since then, industry giants have shown their support for his unique perspective on trance. His tracks have been played by some of the founding fathers of the genre like Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, and Roger Shah. Motivated by the positive feedback of DJs and fans all over the world, Horizon One is showing no signs of slowing down. Keep an eye out for more releases from him in the not so distant future.
