Ron Coolen is a Dutch multi-instrumentalist who has released his debut album 'RISE' through RC Music on March 1, 2020. The album features a great line-up of world class guest musicians: George Lynch, Keith St John, Christopher Amott, Göran Edman , Stephan Forté, Joey Concepcion, Thorsten Koehne, Chris Clancy, Johannes Persson, Daniël Verberk, Steve Lamb and Sam Walters. ‘RISE’ was very well received by international press and fans, and that inspired Ron to continue writing a second album ‘HERE TO STAY’ which is released on 1 December 2023. Ron co-wrote the music on ‘HERE TO STAY’ with Keith St John (well known from Burning Rain, Montrose, Kingdom Come ao), and Keith sings on all songs. The album also features 7 world class guitarists: Gus G., Christopher Amott, Timo Somers, Per Nilsson, Joey Concepcion, George Lynch and Satchel. The album is available in CD-, streaming- and digital format, and contains 3 additional bonus tracks. Mixing was done by Hans Pieters and mastering by Grammy nominated Svante Forsbäck. Preceding the ‘HERE TO STAY’ release, 2 singles were released: 'Heavy Metal Till I'm Dead' (Including a videoclip), and 'Shake me to the Floor', the latter being a tribute to the G.O.A.T Eddie van Halen.
