Hailing from Long Island’s rap scene, yeahCALEB is forging his own trail in alternative rap. yeahCALEB was a member of defunct rap collective thebaremax, collaborating with GLENWORLDTOUR, Bert Knox, and lamuse for their albums Pulp and Smudge, with breakout single “Face” from the latter. yeahCALEB’s music speaks to the highs and lows of young adulthood, but also reminds the listener to have fun as well. He released his debut album Music for a Film in 2020, and followed up in 2021 with his sophomore record, Vermont. With Vermont, yeahCALEB discusses friendship, love, loss, and growing up- most notably on the soon-to-be viral hit “Suit and Tie.” Since then he’s released a string of upbeat singles (“Sharkweek,” “Fashion Nova,” “Hamptons”) and is looking forward to releasing more music.
