Camilla Voigt works as a musician in the Church of Sweden. She plays organ, piano, leads choirs and composes music mainly for women and children's voices. Here is a presentation about ET IN TERRA PAX, one of her most important works. ”Above the earth are words filled with desires, despair, care and powerlessness that have been repeated over the millennia. But also words filled with gratitude, reverence and joy over all that is beautiful, sacred and cannot be explained. This music is composed with a desire to give life to ancient Latin lyrics. The music is composed for women choir with soloist and instrumentalists. The sets: Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus and Agnus Dei are composed and arranged based on Gregorian melodies. The music moves in a border country with influences from both jazz, folk music and classical music.
