London-based duo who filter jazz and rap into a cohesive music, usually fronted by the voice of Ghida De Palma. Principal members Dodge (b. Roger Drakes) and I.G. also employ guest musicians such as the Young Disciples and jazzmen Ronny Jordan and Steve Williamson, as and when the need arises, alongside rappers such as MC Bello (Of Brothers Like Outlaw / KLF fame) and MCM. Dodge and I.G. have also remixed for Gang Starr, Digital Underground and Naughty By Nature. Singles such as ‘Unleash Your Love’ led to them being viewed as the new Soul II Soul in some corners, particularly the way in which they operated as a collective, with live shows usually featuring no less than eight people on stage at any given time.
