Whyel is the musical outcast we all need. He has developed a new sound which mixes all types of rock such as Punk/Alternative/Emo and more with the heavy bass and sounds of electronic music. This sound grew from his upbringing as a SoCal trouble maker spending his days at skateparks. Whyel’s remixes of The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake and Dillon Francis sparked lots of attention when he decided to ditch the norm and push the envelope of remixes by giving them an alternative rock style. The Chainsmokers loved his remix of “You Owe Me” so much that they perform it in their live show. Whyel decided to take the rock energy of those remixes and mash them up with his signature bass/dubstep vibes. His first official release “Bricks To The Butterfly” takes over the emotion and nostalgia of our Emo phase and slams it with a hint of dance music. This is only the beginning for Whyel and his future couldn’t look more promising. Whyel continues to pave his own unique path and grow his fanbase known as the “Rage Brigade.”
