Naardie is a hip hop/rap artist hailing from the township of Tembisa which is situated on the east side of Johannesburg.Naardie started taking interest and writting music in grade 9 with a couple of friends as he was inspired by local rap music he used to hear his friends play.The love for music has always been there but all that was needed was inspiration to actually start being involved in music. He's currently working very closely with a record label called "Objektives Records" and that's how he's able to deliver such soothing sounds and raw talent on the mic.He dropped a debut album on the 25th of November 2021 and the album has been doing well across all digital streaming plartforms,making him accomplish 165k streams in just 5 months.Alongside the peek of his career he has managed to share the stage with a couple of big names like Focalistic ,Nadia Nakai,Costa Titch,Major League Djz and Tshego just to name a few.He has a total of 15 singles,6 freestyles,2 EP's,1 album and 3 music videos and all that can be found on all DSP's and Youtube,the album is out and available and on the project he features the likes of Nigerian superstar DHARMYFRET,Breeze Zulu Bass King and Venda's very own rap star Mac J Macfam to name a few. With all this he managed to have surpassed 970k streams overall on all DSP's,Leading him to winning the 2023 MTN Bushfire Firefly Youth Music Competition thus securing himself a performance slot at the 2023 MTN BUSHFIRE FESTIVAL.
