Isabelle is a Swedish award winning composer and producer for screen and games. She is driven by experimentation and coming up with new soundscapes. Her music can be described as a mix of modern minimalism and sound experimentalism. From the age of six, Isabelle started taking piano lessons in her hometown Norberg. Being born with only one hand, she started re-arranging her home-works - that’s when she found her passion for writing music. On her solo debut album ‘Resonance’, Swedish folk melodies blend into a cinematic sound. She has a present and haunting quality to her music, which can be heard throughout this album - an homage to Bergslagen, the area of where she grew up. Among her previous scoring work you find the feature documentary Only In Theaters (Raphael Sbarge), the full-length horror film Madres (Amazon/Blumhouse) and the TV-series Stockholm Bloodbath (Swedish Television). Previous clients of her include Microsoft, HBO and Sony Pictures. She has recorded her work at studios such as Warner Brothers, EastWest Studios and Capitol Records. Isabelle has received multiple awards and grants such as the Anders-Zorn grant (Sweden-America Foundation). She holds Masters Degrees in film composition from University of Southern California and Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts.
