Nicho Savant is definitely no stranger to hip-hop. Born and raised as a Bay Area native, he grew up on the likes of N.W.A., Too Short, King Tee, The D.O.C., and many other California-based emcees. At a very young age, Nicho began to write poetry in hopes of one day taking the world by storm with his burgeoning lyrical skills. His style was different than the rest of the crowd: quick and fast, as opposed to slow and relaxed, which was the local emcee flavor at the time. Going through a series of ups and downs and life changes, he ended up in Arizona, where he later formed a group, Simply Pimpin and later, his Label, Tha Black Diamond District. With his debut album on the way and many years of experience in the game with owning the mic and hosting shows, as an Arizona personality/entertainer and a West Coast emcee with a flow that can stand up against any emcee, Nicho Savant is a force to be reckoned with.
