Born and based in Denver, Colorado, Grace Stailey writes music rooted in the breath and bones of what it is to be on a journey. She uses imagery of nature to paint a picture of human emotions through her lyrics. Inspired by the mountains surrounding her growing up and the creative influences in her life, she brings a true depth and beauty to the commonplace of life though her songs. Grace tends to stick to the natural tones and instruments when it comes to her music. As an indie-folk artist, she works with other local musicians and artists to find those rich, natural sounds. Her upcoming album (release date TBA) was recorded and produced by Zach Winters, also an indie-folk artist, who focuses heavily on organic musical tones to draw out the DNA of her songs. Also featured on the album is Aaron Strumpel playing horns, Aubrea Alford playing strings, and Zach Winters playing a variety of string instruments and percussion.
