Benjamin Groeling (The S.O.N) is a 21 year old singer, songwriter, and producer based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He makes indie music with hip hop and trap influences. Growing up with a preacher as father, music has always been an important part of his life. He learned the piano from a young age and played in the Albuquerque Youth Symphony during middle school and early high school. He began to produce and record his own music when he was 16. His first single to gain recognition was “Saturdaze”. The song was recorded in the spring of 2021 in his college dorm room. Since then he has been performing at local shows in downtown Albuquerque and backyard parties. The S.O.N most recently released his first album, FTSWL, on September 23, 2022. The acronym stands for: From The S.O.N With Love.
