Biography

It's been a hot minute since we’ve heard from Sydney/LA producer MUTO (Miles Davidson). A management client of Gallery since his 2018 and 2019 breakthrough years, that saw him achieve ARIA Gold status for his single ‘Say Nothing', multiple Triple J rotations, sold out headline tours, festival slots at Splendour, Falls Festival, Field Day, EU tours with Odesza, Mura Masa and clock over 50 Million streams globally. The world wide gallivanting took a stand still when covid hit our shores, and Miles took some time to get his head space right, before heading to the land of the free to focus on writing in LA. The last two years has seen him work on an array of musical projects, with his most significant solo project about to thrust itself back into the electronic landscape in the form of ‘Glitter’.  An ode to MUTO’s production roots, ‘Glitter’ is a hard hitting, arp driven instrumental release that is as pretty as it is dancey. A balance of multiple arpeggio’s that effortlessly move in a grandiose nature, with a core of driving and deep bass, result in a progressive electronica sound that we are yet to hear from him. It's a gift to those who fell in love with his unique sonics, and started this journey with him years ago.  It's a new era for MUTO, back touring in Australia this summer and a host of releases (like heaps) set to roll out consistently deep in to 2023. It's a joy to welcome back one of the most talented people we’ve ever seen get behind a laptop.
