‘Transki’ pioneers PPK are smashed into the UK singles chart at #3 in December 2001 with ‘ResuRection’ single and caused a sensation in the press as it emerged that they were the first Russian act ever to reach the UK Chart and go on TOTP. PPK's sound, as everyone agreed, was trance but “trussian” (as favoured by Mixmag) or the more widely preferred “transki” Sergey Pimenov (DJ, producer and radio host) and Alexander Polyakov (studio musician and producer) incorporated PPK in 1997. In weird year of 2020 Pimenov relaunched Uplifto Records and later on re-established PPK jointly with experienced sound producer Evgeny Khramkov also known as DJ Hacker. First PPK (Pimenov Plus Khramkov) single Zodiac Reload was released in Dec 2020. Follow up single First In Space - Full Club Mix in April 2021. Newest single “Champions” is an epic electronic composition which encompasses both big room and trance genres with the inclusion of the instantly recognisable UEFA Champions League anthem. PPK continue to consolidate their status as the world’s only electronic cover group with their modern adaptation of a historical musical work from the Baroque era - the main melody was written in 1727 by the German-British composer George Friedrich Handel.
