Alex Cortiz is an Amsterdam (The Netherlands) based producer of innovative chill out, funky downtempo, dub, deep- and chill house and nu- and cosmic disco. From 1998 on he produced a wide array of internationally critically acclaimed albums (25 now in total). Elusive markers in his career are the albums Moodfood (2000), Magnifico! (2005), New Works Vol.1 (2014), Dancing Naked on Pluto (2021) and songs such as Barfly (Slo-Fi Mix), Funk Me Up Baby and Feel Good. Alex his music crosses with that of artists such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, Air, Afterlife, Session Victim, Zap, Dazz, Ron Basejam and lately also Nils Frahm.
