SLAVE is the immersive expression of Atlanta native David Timko, whose creative visions are rooted in a classical piano upbringing and an entry into rave culture at a young age. Today, he frequently headlines or performs as direct support along side pioneering artists at bass events and festivals across the US and now Mexico, having recently been added to Bassnectar's Deja Voom inaugural year lineup. His signature sound covers a broad spectrum of contrasting emotional themes, fusing orchestral elements with the experimental. David has accrued a long list of musical accomplishments, including an edit of his track “Breakthrough” by Bassnectar, an official Liquid Stranger remix, a collaboration with Conrank on Wakaan, a winning spot on a Levitate remix contest by Block Society, and coverage and support from platforms such as Dubstep.net, The Untz, Circus Records, Headbang Society, Pantheon, and The EDM Network. He also co-founded the rapidly growing label and collective Rapture Studios, creating a shared platform to showcase talented underground bass music experimenters from across the globe. The name SLAVE references our community of vibrant humans who share in the struggle to exist as free thinkers within a society of systemic mass control. With the unifying power of artistic expression and unconditional love, this movement aims to fight back as one family against the zeitgeist of division and suppression of free thought in our modern society.
