Bison embodies the analog, earthy cello, while Rouge ignites with electronic soundscapes and soulful vocals; together they are a feminine force of nature in technology and art. In live performances she appears with cello in arms and barefoot, having a pure connection to the electronic instruments at her feet, while her chanson to ethereal folk-inspired, soulful voice soars and lilts. Whether solo, or with dancers, audiences have been captivated by her performances in clubs, churches, special events and festivals, such as at Fusion and at at.Tension. She is endorsed by Orchestral Tools. Born in Wroclaw PL, raised in the Pacific Northwest/Seattle, USA and now based in Berlin, aka cellist, singer, and composer Ashia Grzesik has performed in genre-bending ensembles such as Stegreif Orchestra, The Portland Cello Project, and Cirque du Soleil. With the ‘Bison Rouge’ she takes her passion for nature, Eastern European folklore, and female archetypes and brings them to future settings with electronic processed sound design and concert performance. Being also an educator and facilitator, she brings her experience in working with music technology and AI creativity to workshops and commissioned works such as 'Found in Translation', co-created with Jovanka von Wilsdorf for Pop-Kultur Berlin and Most Wanted Music.
